Description
Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's patients in Baltimore City, MD (Coverage: Baltimore City). This is an 11-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Home Health Occupational Therapist
Contract type: Travel Contract
Location: Baltimore City, MD (Coverage Area: Baltimore City)
Duration: 11+ week Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Pay rate: $2400 - $2500 Weekly. (Pay Rate is based on experience)
Schedule: Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.) Dayshift 8 AM to 4:30 PM (36 hrs. guarantee on a 40-hr. work week)
Mileage: Reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient)
Job Responsibilities:
- The Occupational Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor coordination, home assessments, adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions.
- Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, using evidence-based techniques, and in coordination with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Evaluates the patient’s functional status, including all body systems as required for CMS documentation, and determines occupational therapy needs. Collaborates with the physician to develop the therapy plan of care.
- Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition to the nurse supervisor and physician.
- Conducts patient assessments to evaluate level of function using diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
- Home Health experience required.
- Experience with Homecare Homebase required.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
