Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) – Inpatient Hospital Setting

Schedule Options:

• Sunday to Thursday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  OR
• Tuesday to Saturday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist with strong inpatient hospital-based experience. The ideal candidate will have a primary focus in echocardiography and demonstrated expertise performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies in acute care settings.

Experience Requirements:

• Several years of dedicated echocardiography (Echo) experience in an inpatient hospital setting – Required
• Strong preference for candidates whose primary specialty is echocardiography only
• Experience must be hands-on in acute care inpatient environments
• Outpatient or satellite clinic experience alone will not meet requirements
• Must be comfortable working independently in high-acuity hospital settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies in inpatient settings
• Assist physicians in diagnosing cardiac conditions through imaging
• Conduct studies on acutely ill and hospitalized patients
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic reporting
• Work efficiently in fast-paced hospital environments
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams

Important Notes:

• Candidates with mixed modality experience (vascular, abdominal, OB, etc.) must still demonstrate strong, primary focus in Echo
• Must have real inpatient hospital scanning experience (not limited to outpatient settings)
