Job Overview:

• MRI Tech role in a hospital setting (required experience)
• Working in a Magnet & teaching facility
• Must be proficient with GE MRI equipment (mandatory requirement)
• Exposure to a wide range of patient populations (neonates to geriatrics)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans across multiple body systems (brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal, chest)
• Conduct advanced imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and post-processing techniques
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start and manage peripheral IV lines
• Ensure image quality, patient safety, and proper identification
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital MRI experience
• Strong experience in:
  • Brain, spine, abdomen & musculoskeletal imaging
  • Advanced MRI procedures (MRA, MRV, MRCP)
  • Image post-processing (MIP, MPR, ADC mapping)
• Experience with GE MRI systems (REQUIRED)
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience across multiple care settings (ICU, ER, outpatient preferred)
