Description

Job Title: Echo Sonographer

Location: Morristown, NJ 07960

Shift: 4x10 hours (Sun-Thurs 10:30-6:30p or Tues-Sat 10:30-6:30p.)

Duration: 13 weeks

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
-Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA)
-Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.

Required Education:
-High School Diploma or GED required OR

-Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program.

Required Skills & Experience:
-Experienced Sonographer to perform high quality Adult Echo studies as per ASE & IAC Guidelines in a premiere cardiac center.
-Dedicated inpatient echo work experience is a must.
-Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
-Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
-Ability to work independently, recognize abnormalities and quickly respond to critical findings.
