Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (MS RN)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Job Description:
We are hiring a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care Med/Surg unit, handling a variety of surgical and medical cases including GI, respiratory, and post-operative patients. The role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to float between units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care with a typical ratio of 1:4–5
- Manage IV therapy, medications, wound care, and post-op recovery
- Monitor patients using cardiac and respiratory equipment
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (required)
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Strong skills in patient care, IV therapy, and emergency response
