Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with trauma level I experience preferred
• Strong skills in cardiac care, including drips, post-cath lab recovery, IV starts, and sheath pulls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent critical thinking and patient assessment capabilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Experience with telemetry and conscious sedation is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in telemetry, post-cath recovery, or similar specialized cardiac procedures
• Experience in caring for patients with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, or LVAD pre/post procedures
• Comfort with floating between units and adapting to different patient needs

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in a clinical setting
• Experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical center is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Must be flexible to work day shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Ability to work approximately 50% of weekends during the contract period
• Candidates should be comfortable with precepting or shadowing students if assigned
• Travel compliance and licensing current and in good standing
• Physical ability to perform essential patient care tasks
