Shift: Nights
Schedule: 3*12 - 36 Hours weekly
Location: Carroll, IA 51401

Pay Range: $35- $42/ hourly
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated LVN/LPN with at least 2 years of recent experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. This is a high-priority 13-week contract role requiring a compassionate professional who can deliver quality patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- LPN / LVN IA state license
- 2 years of recent experience in an LTC /SNF setting.
- BLS through AHA
- COVID card
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Document patient care, progress, and any changes in condition accurately
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver quality care
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in patient care within SNF/LTC settings
- Proficiency in medication administration and treatment procedures
- Excellent patient assessment and monitoring abilities
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR documentation systems
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate approach to geriatric and long-term care patients
- Time management and ability to handle multiple patients efficiently
- Understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols
