Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Contract Length: 16 Weeks
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12s (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 16-week Operating Room travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This is a high-acuity surgical services role supporting multiple specialty lines in a fast-paced OR environment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-specialty scrub experience and be confident working across complex surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Set up sterile fields, instruments, and surgical supplies
- Scrub and assist during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain efficient workflow during cases
- Ensure adherence to aseptic technique and sterile processing standards
- Handle instrumentation, specimen labeling, and equipment documentation
- Support patient safety through universal protocol and time-out procedures
- Assist with instrument processing, sterilization, and turnover between cases
- Float within facility and to outpatient areas as needed within scope
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel (Hard Stop)
- Epic charting experience required
- First-time travelers accepted with required experience

Candidates must have strong recent Operating Room experience in the following specialties (Hard Stop):

- Neurology / Neuro Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Transplant
- Gynecology

Assignment Details
- 16-week travel assignment
- Day shift | 3x12s
- Every other weekend required
- Call required (details discussed during interview)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted
Important Notes
- Hard Stop: Must have 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
- Hard Stop: Must have strong recent experience in General Surgery, Neuro, Ortho,
- GYN, and Transplant
- Full compliance required for on-time start
