Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Compensation

• W2 Hourly Rate: $23.40
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246.00
• Estimated Weekly Gross (36 hrs): $2,088.40

Unit Details

• Department: Emergency Department
• Beds: 27
• Staffing:
  • Total: 50 RNs / 25 Medics
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics (additional RNs added throughout the day)
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2–3 Medics
• Patient Ratio: 4–6:1
• EMR: Meditech

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

• 2–3 years of ER experience
• Must have completed 2–3 travel assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced, high-volume ER settings
• Experience managing 5:1 patient ratios

Common Procedures

• Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)
• Sepsis interventions
• Stroke protocols with tPA administration
• Central line placement
• Psych patient care
• Interfacility transfers (EMTALA compliance)

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Certifications:

• ENPC
• NRP
• NIH Stroke Certification

Additional Details

• Floating: None
• On-Call: Not required
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Dress Code: Navy Blue or White Scrubs
