Description
Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist performs a full range of ultrasound procedures and produces quality diagnostic images. Incumbent processes films, prepares records of service performed, makes adjustments to equipment, report any malfunctioning equipment, transports patient to and from the department. The incumbent works efficiently to maintain scheduled patient appointments and unscheduled patient exams.
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA)
- ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer
- 2 years of experience as an US technologist in an acute care hospital setting
Shift: 5x8s - 1530-0000 and some ovenight shifts when needed
On Call / Weekend Requirements?: Weekend rotation required; on-call required if census permits.
