Location: Columbia, MO 65212

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Travel Pay Rate:
$2416 weekly ($32.5/hr w2 + $1246/week stipend)

Local Pay Rate:
$58/Hr - $60/Hr on w2

Locals are not accepted within 50 miles of the facility. Candidates within 50-75 miles are accepted at the local rate.

Job Summary:
Medical-Surgical RN position in Columbia, MO working night shift (3x12, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) in a 57-bed unit serving internal medicine patients. This unit includes advanced features such as video monitoring, sitter rooms, ceiling lifts, and bariatric support.

Patient ratios: Nights: 1:5–6 (can go up to 7)

Floating required to Med-Surg and MS/Tele units.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical/internal medicine patients
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments
• Work in MS and MS/Tele units (floating required)
• Collaborate with charge nurse and supervisor available every shift
• Handle patient mobility, lifting (20+ lbs), and active bedside care
• Follow infection control protocols (exposure to contagious illnesses)
• Work weekends (every other) and rotating holidays (50%)

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS required (CPI preferred)
• 1.5–2 years of Med-Surg experience (2 years preferred)
• Comfortable with high patient ratios and fast-paced unit
• Willing to float to MS & MS/Tele
• No local candidates within 50 miles
