Description

Company Job Title:  Respiratory Therapist

If Contract, Length of Assignment: 12 weeks
 
Shift: PM - 1830-0700 / 48 hour weekly guarantee
Every other weekend is required
No on-call requirement
 
Start Date: Mid May start, will accept additional start dates

Qualifications:

  • BLS, NRP, PALS required
  • Previous travel experience required
  • MINIMUM 2+ YEARS in NICU RT required (Level III or IV)
  • RRT or CRT will be accepted
  • Experience with oscillator vent, conventional vent, umbilical lines, hypothermia, neonatal, vents & jet experience

Description:

  • Will be working in Level IV NICU
  • They may float to CCN, which is our continuing care nursery, but they will not float outside of these 2 areas that see babies (so no adult areas in the hospital)
  • NICU takes transfers from all over the state and has the ability to go up to 130 beds
  • Accepts 21.5 weeks gestation and above
  • 120 babies on average
  • 40 rooms with 2-3 beds/babies per room
  • Ratios: 2:3-4
  • 300-500 gram premies
  • They do have resp techs on hand
