What You’ll Do:

• Deliver expert nursing care to stepdown and progressive care patients during 3x12 night shifts, primarily on weekdays, with some weekend coverage.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure patient stability and safety.
• Start IVs and manage complex patient needs with confidence and precision.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient status.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1.5-2+ years of recent RN experience in a similar critical care setting.
• Strong telemetry reading and interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in IV starts and patient assessment.
• Ability to work independently with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Valid RN license (state-specific or compact, pending acceptable).
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a Stepdown or telemetry unit.
• Travel experience or flexible scheduling capabilities.
• Additional certifications, such as PALS, are a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active RN licensure with full licensure verification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience in critical care or stepdown environments.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Certifications should be current and documented with the application submittal.
• Candidates should reside more than 75 miles from the facility (or be approved for a closer distance on a case-by-case basis).
