👩⚕️ What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tele/IMC RN, you will provide critical step-down level care for complex patients, including:
- Continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Care for patients transitioning from ICU to step-down units
- Management of conditions like CHF, COPD, sepsis, post-op recovery, and arrhythmias
- IV therapy, medication administration, and treatment plan execution
- Coordination with physicians and rapid response teams for acute changes
- Ongoing patient education and family support
🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a confident and experienced telemetry/step-down RN who can handle higher acuity patients:
- 🏥 Experience in Tele, Step-down, or Intermediate Care (preferred)
- 🧠 Strong clinical judgment and rapid assessment skills
- 💉 Skilled in telemetry monitoring and acute care management
- 🤝 Ability to function independently in a fast-paced unit
- 📊 Comfortable with fluctuating patient acuity and workflow demands
📌 Requirements
- Active RN License (required)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Preferred/Unit dependent requirement
- Experience with telemetry strongly preferred
- Ability to manage high-acuity step-down patients independently
