Job Description:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role involves continuous monitoring, assessment, and intervention for patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and advanced life support equipment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 years of ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
