Description
Travel ICU RN - Vail, CO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN to join a high-acuity team in beautiful Vail, CO. This role is ideal for nurses experienced in critical care who thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident managing complex patient conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and titrate critical drips.
- Operate advanced life-support equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps).
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum 1- 2 years of ICU experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
