Mandatory Requirements (Read Carefully):

•  Active Alaska RN License – REQUIRED at time of submittal
• Urgent Care experience within the last 2 years – REQUIRED
• Flu Vaccine – Proof REQUIRED

Start Date Notice:

• Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are received Candidates must complete fingerprinting within 2–3 days of offer acceptance to avoid delays

Position Overview:
This RN role works within the Urgent Care Department, supporting providers and clinic operations in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support to providers
• Ensure efficient clinic operations, including front desk & patient flow
• Oversee clinic opening & closing procedures
• Maintain medication inventory and clinical supplies
• Perform quality control checks (Point of Care testing)
• Accurately document all care and services
• Collaborate with clinic staff, providers, and other departments
• Maintain infection control and safety standards

 Requirements:

•  Active Alaska RN License (Required at submission)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Urgent Care experience

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of nursing processes & patient assessment
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with specimen collection & clinical equipment
• Strong critical thinking & problem-solving abilities

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform hands-on patient care duties throughout shift
