Description

💊 Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Rotating Shifts
🕒 Shift: Rotating Days/Evenings (Occasional Nights) | 40 hrs/week

💼 Key Responsibilities

Review, interpret, and process medication orders
Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
Monitor drug therapy for interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and antibiotic stewardship
Provide clinical consultation to physicians and healthcare teams
Document interventions and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Maintain medication inventory and ensure formulary compliance
Participate in Code Response Team
Educate patients, families, and staff on medication use

✅ Requirements

Active Colorado Pharmacist License (Required at submission)
Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
EPIC EMR experience required
Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible rotating shifts

📜 Certifications Required

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)

📅 Schedule & Details

Rotating Day/Evening shifts
40 hours/week guaranteed
Rotating weekends (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Occasional overnight shifts as needed
Holiday coverage required
