• 12-hour day shifts
• 4 on / 4 off rotation
• 36 / 48 hour alternating weeks

Contract:
• Long-term / ongoing opportunity

Pay:
Local:
• Starting at $50/hr

Travel (50+ miles):
• $20/hr W2
• $1,344/week stipends (non-taxed)

Weekly Gross:
• $2,064 (36 hours)
• $2,464 (48 hours)

Position Overview:
Aequor Healthcare is seeking an RN to work at the Preston E. Smith Unit with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. This is a correctional setting where you’ll provide care to an adult inmate population in a structured and secure environment.

Responsibilities:
• Medication administration (pill call)
• Sick call and patient assessments
• Monitoring chronic conditions
• Responding to medical needs and emergencies
• Documentation and charting
• Collaboration with medical and security staff

Requirements:
• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Comfortable working in a correctional setting
• Ability to pass background screening
