Description
CT / Imaging Tech – Night Shift (Kentucky)
Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (4×10s implied)
Key Requirements
- Required:
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- Kentucky state license
- Epic experience
- Neuro experience (this is a big one)
- Preferred:
- ARRT (VI) (Vascular Interventional)

Clinical Competency
- Strong understanding of:
- Human anatomy & physiology
- Patient positioning
- Imaging techniques
- Image quality optimization
- Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images consistently
Patient Interaction
- Explain procedures clearly
- Help reduce patient anxiety
- Adjust communication for different age groups (peds → geriatrics)
Technical Skills
- Experience with:
- Imaging equipment
- PACS
- Epic charting system
- Radiation safety practices (ALARA principles)
Additional Responsibilities
- Infection control & quality control
- May supervise students/trainees
- Maintain continuing education
