Schedule:
• 8-hour shifts
• Day shift (1st or 2nd shift)
• Weekdays and weekends as scheduled
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Open availability required per client scheduling policy

Pay:
Travel (50+ miles):
• W2: $33/hr
• Stipends (non-taxed): $1,442/week

Weekly Gross:
• $2,762 (40 hrs)

Position Overview:
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to serve as a Mental Health Coordinator at CA City Detention Center. In this role, providers are responsible for planning and providing non-medical clinical mental health services within a correctional environment while maintaining standards consistent with correctional healthcare practices.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments
• Review records and complete clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support
• Document evaluations, interventions, and treatment plans accurately
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Apply evidence-based counseling and therapeutic practices
• Collaborate with facility and interdisciplinary staff

Requirements:
• Active California LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass extensive background and credit investigation
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Clearance Information:
• ICE clearance required
• Expedited process available for new activations
• Clearance timeframe is approximately 4–6 weeks
• Candidates may begin once ICE clearance is approved
