Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) with strong NICU experience to provide care across a wide range of patient populations, from neonates to geriatrics. This role requires the ability to work independently, make sound clinical judgments, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care across inpatient and critical care settings
Manage and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment
Collaborate with physicians and care teams for treatment planning
Perform patient assessments and adjust therapies accordingly
Respond to respiratory emergencies as needed

Equipment
Experience with the following is preferred:
Airvo (high-flow system)
PB 840 Ventilator
PB 980 Ventilator
Hamilton C1
Hamilton MR1
V60 Respironics (BiPAP/CPAP)

Schedule & Shifts
Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:30
Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:30
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every 3rd holiday
No self or block scheduling specified

Orientation
3 shifts (12-hour) of department-specific orientation
Required Qualifications
Must have NICU experience (required)
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- RRT or CRT
Active North Dakota state license

Additional Requirements
50-mile radius rule applies
