Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week auto-offer assignment. This role requires a versatile OR nurse comfortable across multiple surgical specialties, including ortho, general, GYN, podiatry, and endoscopy.

📋 Job Details

• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Schedule: 5x8s
• On-Call:
  • 1–2 days/week (3:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
  • 1–2 weekends/month
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

🩺 Surgical Scope

• Orthopedic: Joint replacements, fracture repair, arthroscopy
• General Surgery: Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair
• GYN: C-sections, D&C, laparoscopic procedures
• Podiatry: Bunionectomy, foot reconstruction
• Endoscopy: EGD, PEG tube procedures

🩺 Core Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist during various surgical procedures
• Ensure compliance with sterile technique & universal protocols
• Monitor patients during conscious sedation
• Manage specimen handling, documentation, and equipment prep
• Support emergency response and intraoperative safety

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

• Minimum 2+ years OR RN experience
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Ability to work across multiple surgical specialties

✅ Certifications Required

• BLS

Preferred:

• ACLS
• PALS

💻 EMR

• EPIC (REQUIRED)
