Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Ideal candidates are seasoned travelers with strong critical care skills and the ability to manage high-acuity, life-threatening situations independently.

📋 Job Details

Start Date: June 15, 2026
End Date: September 16, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
On-Call: Not required

🩺 Core Responsibilities

Perform triage, rapid assessment, and emergency interventions
Identify and respond to life-threatening conditions
Administer medications, IV therapy, and phlebotomy
Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms and critical patients
Provide patient education and coordinate care
May function as Charge Nurse when required

🧠 Requirements (Strict)

Travel experience REQUIRED
Active New York RN License
Experience in high-acuity Emergency Department settings
Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and work under pressure

BLS
ACLS
PALS

💻 EMR

MEDITECH (REQUIRED experience)

🛠️ Required Skills

IV therapy & medication administration
Phlebotomy
Dysrhythmia recognition & emergency response
Ability to pass lethal dysrhythmia exam during assignment
