Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist for an inpatient acute care setting. This role offers a flexible full-time schedule and the opportunity to work across multiple clinical environments, supporting diverse patient populations and rehabilitation needs.

Schedule & Work Structure

• 36–40 hours per week with flexibility
• Work schedule split between two facilities during the week
• Example structure: 3 days at one facility and 2 days at another (may vary based on coverage needs)
• May include one weekend day as part of a 5-day workweek
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week when full 8-hour shifts are completed
• Therapists are not required to cover both facilities in a single day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting
• Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records

Requirements

• Active and current Physical Therapist license (state-specific)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient or acute care setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
