Description
Histotechnologist - 4x10 Days M-Thursday
START DATE:Late June/Early July
Local rate within 60 miles of the facility
Histotechnologist with IHC experience. The position is Monday–Thursday 07:30am - 06:00pm with no on-call or weekends and ASCP HTL certified required. Performs routine and complex histology procedures used in pathology diagnosis. Assists in the pathology grossing area and participates in the general maintenance of the histopathology laboratory.
Cert required: ASCP HTL
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or ASCP registry as HT or HTL required
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in Hospital clinical laboratory
-Additive fixatives, Core biopsies, Curettings, Decalcification, Excision specimens, Formalin
Skill preferred for Work Setting : Commercial or Reference Laboratories
