Unit Specifics:

·        Number of Beds : 2 endoscopy suites

·        Patient Ratios : 1:1 for circ; up to 2 pts for PACU, Preop 1:1 during preop questioning but may be up to 1:3 if waiting

·        Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 Circulator and 1 tech in the room- scope washer designated for the shift

·        Type of equipment : Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot

·        Documentation system: Meditech Expanse and Provation

·        Scheduling requirements: Ranges from 6a-3p Monday-Friday based on assignment

·        Floating policy: Float to the ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed

Requested Skill Set: RNs to circulate and tech

Must have: Ability to do advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS; Credentials and experience more than 1 year according to scope of practice

Advanced skills needed: Able to do ERCP, EUS, Robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS

Procedures performed on unit:  Colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, bronchoscopy, etc.

Certifications Required:

Dress Code: (Required uniform)
