Description
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
- Charge experience preferred, not required
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Licensure:
- Active RN License required
- Pending license accepted (application must be submitted and received by the licensing board)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
- AWHONN (Fetal Monitoring) – Required
Clinical Skills Required:
- Fetal Monitoring
- Triage experience (including MSEs)
- Newborn care and transitions (baby nurse experience)
- Ability to initiate NRP for low-to-moderate risk deliveries, including:
- CPAP
- PPV (Positive Pressure Ventilation) until additional support arrives
- IV starts
- Circulating C-sections
- Postpartum and antepartum care
Scheduling & Availability Requirements:
- Shift Options: 3x12 or 4x12-hour Night shifts (1900–0730)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- On-Call: Not required
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Floating Requirements:
- Floating within hospital required
- No floating to sister hospitals
Additional Requirements:
- Local Candidates: Accepted
- RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 1 week
