Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nurse Practice Educator (RNNPE)

Location: Mountain Ridge Center, Franklin, NH
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks (04/27/2026 – 08/10/2026)
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)
Employment Type: Contract (Travel/Temporary)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse – Nurse Practice Educator (RNNPE) to support clinical education and staff development at Mountain Ridge Center. This role is responsible for enhancing clinical competency, ensuring compliance with best practices, and supporting quality patient care through education, training, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education programs for nursing staff
• Provide orientation and onboarding training for new hires
• Assess staff competency and create individualized development plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
• Conduct in-service training sessions and skills validations
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and performance gaps
• Maintain accurate records of training and competency assessments

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
• Previous experience in clinical education, staff development, or nurse educator role preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings
• Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or equivalent
• Experience with competency validation and performance improvement initiatives
