Description

Job Title: Registered Dietician

Job Location: Bronx NY 10451

Contract: 13 Weeks

Shift: 9 AM - 5 PM (37.5 Hrs/Week)

Certifications & Licensure:

Registered Dietitian (CDR) – required (Acute setting)
NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (Post-Acute/LTC)
AHA BLS (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients’ nutritional needs and provide follow-up care
Interview patients/families for dietary history and preferences
Review lab results and medical data related to nutrition
Educate patients on diet plans and record details
Modify patient menus as required

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics / Food & Nutrition (required)
Master’s degree (preferred)

Additional Requirement (Post-Acute/LTC):

Must hold NYSED Dietitian-Nutritionist certification at time of hire

Certifications & Licensure: Registered Dietitian (CDR) – required (Acute setting) NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (Post-Acute/LTC) AHA BLS (preferred)
