Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift
Schedule: 3 × 12s | 7:00p–7:00a
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Required Experience (MANDATORY):
- Pediatric respiratory care
- NICU experience
- Adult ER & Critical Care experience
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RRT license
- ACLS – Required
- BLS – Required
Position Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care as prescribed by a physician and provides comprehensive cardiopulmonary support across multiple care settings. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation, patient management, education, rehabilitation, and therapeutic intervention for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies or abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations including collection and analysis of physiological specimens
- Interpret cardiopulmonary data and conduct tests and studies
- Manage mechanical ventilation and medical gas therapy
- Provide artificial airway care and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care
- Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular care
- Apply respiratory care protocols across all patient care areas, including critical care, ER, NICU, and pediatric units
