DESCRIPTION:
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Seattle 98122
Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible after a minimum 3-month separation period
- Active compact RN license accepted and honored across all affiliated facilities
Certifications (Required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Schedule & Work Requirements
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to all affiliated facilities within the system

- 40 total treatment areas (29 standard beds + 11 hallway beds)
- Patient population includes:
- Adult & Pediatric Emergency Cases
- Ambulance Triage
- ED Holding
- Lobby Triage
