Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership support for daily clinic operations and staff supervision
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for athletes and active individuals
- Evaluate patient conditions using clinical assessments and medical history
- Design individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and sports-related conditions
- Deliver evidence-based treatments including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
- Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and care teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Lead staff meetings, education sessions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote a positive clinical and organizational culture
Procedures & Modalities
- Manual therapy techniques
- Therapeutic exercise programs
- Neuromuscular re-education
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Sports injury rehabilitation
- Injury prevention programming
- Work-related injury treatment
Equipment Utilized
- EMR systems (e.g., Epic preferred)
- Standard outpatient rehabilitation equipment
- Modalities for orthopedic and sports rehab treatment
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy required
- Current and valid state Physical Therapist license (or eligible)
- CPR certification required
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Interest in leadership development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
Certifications & Licensure
- Licensed Physical Therapist (required or eligible)
- CPR Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years outpatient orthopedic experience
- Sports medicine experience preferred
- Training or certification in specialized techniques (McKenzie, Maitland, Dry Needling, Graston)
- Prior leadership experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
