🔑 Hard Requirements (Screen-Out Criteria)

• Must have BOTH:
  • OR circulator experience
  • PACU experience
• Cerner EMR experience REQUIRED
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS

👉 If you only have OR or PACU, this likely won’t move forward.

⏰ Schedule & Call (Big Consideration)

• Shift: 5x8s (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), Monday–Friday
• Call:
  • Every 3rd day
  • Every 3rd weekend
  • Weekend call = Sat/Sun/Mon coverage

👉 This is the biggest lifestyle factor—call is frequent and can add a lot of hours unpredictably

🏥 Case Mix (What You’ll Actually Be Doing)

Daily volume:

• ~6–8 OR cases/day

Breakdown:

• Majority: GI procedures (EGD/endoscopy) → ~96 cases
• Smaller volume:
  • Ortho (2–4)
  • General surgery (1–3)
  • Podiatry (2–3)
  • OB/GYN (2–3)

👉 Translation:

• This is not a heavy trauma OR
• It’s more procedural + outpatient-style flow, with some variety

👩‍⚕️ Workflow

• 1:1 patient ratio
• You’ll likely:
  • Circulate in OR cases
  • Recover patients in PACU
• Expected to:
  • Stay late if cases run over
  • Be flexible and team-oriented
