Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Temple, Texas
Shift: Nights | Monday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist works under the general supervision of a Radiologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians or licensed providers
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
Operate MRI equipment and ensure optimal image quality
Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
Follow established imaging protocols and safety standards
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnosis

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

MRI experience required (even if less than 1 year)

Certifications & Licenses:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire/transfer)
One of the following required:
- ARRT (MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARMRIT – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists
