Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Nurse Practitioner in San Antonio, TX. This position offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a fast-paced clinic setting. This is a great opportunity for experienced NPs with primary care or urgent care experience who are open to working a schedule that includes every other weekend.

 

Nurse Practitioner Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $74.87/hr

Schedule

  • Hours/Week: ~38 hours/week (includes every other weekend; possible holiday rotation)

Additional Information

  • On-site position: San Antonio, TX 78221
  • Candidates MUST have prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience (do not apply if you do not meet this requirement)
  • BLS required (AHA or ARC) — candidate must provide proof upon offer acceptance
  • DEA registration may be required during onboarding (as applicable)
  • Submissions must include a completed candidate questionnaire (see Requirements)

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning
  • Perform routine examinations and support positive patient health outcomes
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare through services such as health screenings, wellness support, and chronic condition management
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
  • Complete clinic administrative tasks including opening/closing duties, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance/collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment

Nurse Practitioner Requirements

  • Active NP/PA license in Texas (active and in good standing)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine/primary care/urgent care)
  • Current BLS (AHA or ARC)
  • Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX and work every other weekend
