Description
Job Description – Cath Lab / EP Lab Technologist
Required Qualifications:
- Valid State of CT Radiographer License and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in scrubbing and assisting with electrophysiology procedures, including:
- Ablations
- Device implants
- Generator changes
- Lead revisions
- Leadless pacing systems (e.g., Micra, Aveir preferred)
- Skilled in supporting cardiac catheterization procedures, including:
- Diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy)
- Mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing)
- Experience assisting with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including:
- Diagnostic angiography
- Endovascular interventions
- Strong expertise in:
- Radial and femoral vascular access
- Sheath management
- Vascular closure devices
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
