Take a step back in time at Fort Pickens, one of the few in the state that stayed in the hands of the Union throughout the Civil War. Visitors can explore the prisoner's quarters, officer's quarters, gun rooms and mine chambers. At the Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum, climb the 177 steps to the top of the lighthouse for a spectacular panoramic view of the Gulf Coast. The fully restored Keepers’ Quarters houses a museum on Pensacola's local history.
