Description
Must be willing to float between peds and adults as needed
Must have Peds Experience
- Peds: Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to: Eating Disorders, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Gender Dysphoria
- Adults: most commonly Schizophrenia, MDD, Bipolar Disorder; also will see Eating Disorders, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety
- No forensic patients or inmates – this facility is locked but not to the extent of holding patients under arrest
- Seclusion rooms are used when necessary
- Occasionally will see Substance Use Disorder or Detoxing patients on CIWA, but they must be medically cleared
- Will provide traditional medical and psychiatric care in addition to specialized therapies such as: pet therapy, group sessions, community gardens
