Description
Position Summary:
Prepares prescribed solutions and administers anesthetic following specified methods and procedures. Informs the physician of the patient's condition during anesthesia. Performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records.
Job Requirement
Education/Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited MSN program with a CRNA program, and licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
- State of Nevada License to Practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Certification by the NCRNA (National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
Additional Position Requirements
- Post-Master's certification from a COA-accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program
- Pediatric anesthesia experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Schedule and shift options (8s, 10s, 12s, etc.)
- Any combination of above shifts are available to satisfy 80 hours per pay period
- No on call requirements
