Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Decatur, IL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/26/2026
Shift: Day Shift (4x10 hours) | 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM
Schedule: 4 days/week with on-call rotation

Job Overview

Provide nursing care for interventional radiology procedures (pre, intra, and post)
Monitor and administer procedural sedation and medications
Assist in vascular, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and genitourinary procedures
Support procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and stent placements
Perform patient monitoring including dysrhythmia interpretation and end-tidal CO2
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of IR RN experience
Previous charge nurse experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience with Cerner charting system
Skilled in IV therapy, sedation monitoring, and emergency response
Active Illinois RN license (or active application with ETA)
