Description
3x12 hr shifts. The nurses work together and sit together for OB, Med/Surg and ED and help each other. We don't have a lot of deliveries. We had 24 last year. We ask that the OB nurse take patients on med/surg when there is not an OB patient. Mostly they are rehab beds, that CAH hospitals refer to as swing bed. Our census is not high, it would be 1-4 patients per nurse depending. Average would probably be 2, as average total census is 4-5. Required Certifications: ACLS and NRP.
