Description
Position Details:
- Job Title: Medical Technologist (Microbiology)
- Facility: UW Health University Hospital
- Work Location: 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792
- Start Date: 05/18/2026
- Duration: 26 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hours) – 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday + rotating weekends (approx. 1 in 4)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital lab experience
- At least 1 year of dedicated microbiology experience
- Certification: ASCP MT or MLS (Required)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science
- Strong expertise in microbiology (aerobic/anaerobic cultures, PCR, rapid testing, etc.)
