Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric LCSW to provide social work services to children and families in a healthcare setting. The role focuses on assessment, crisis support, care coordination, and delivering trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial support to pediatric patients and families
- Conduct assessments and evaluations
- Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Apply trauma-informed care practices
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Assist with discharge planning and resource coordination
- Document patient care in Epic EMR
- Collaborate across departments and support patient-centered care
- Float to other units/facilities as needed
Requirements (Must Have):
- Active California LCSW license (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience
- Experience working with children and families in healthcare, mental health, or child protection settings
- Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Epic EMR experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outpatient clinic settings
