Description
Scope of Practice
Exams Performed
- General Ultrasound:
- Abdomen
- Aorta screenings
- Thyroid
- Breast
- Vascular:
- Carotids
- Upper & lower extremity venous studies (DVT)
- Exclusions:
- No OB beyond 1st trimester
- No pediatrics/infants
- No MSK (limited or none depending on case mix)
Procedures
- Assist providers with ultrasound-guided procedures:
- Prostate
- Thyroid
- Breast
- Lymph nodes
Patient Population
- Pediatric to Geriatric (no infant imaging required)
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of current ultrasound experience
- Certifications:
- ARDMS (AB, BR, OB/GYN, RVT)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Other Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle
- Permanent address required at submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of prior travel experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR
