Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Orthopedic Unit)

 

Shift: 3*12, Days

Location: Columbia, SC 29203

 

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Specialty: Must have Orthopedic (Ortho) experience
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • License: Active South Carolina (SC) or Compact RN License required (no pending licenses accepted)

Certifications Required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Scheduling & Work Details

  • Shift: 12-hour shifts (details provided at offer)
  • Contract Length: As per facility requirement
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (total 6 weekend shifts)
  • Call-Off Policy: 1 shift allowed per 2 weeks
  • RTO & Scheduling Requests: Must be submitted upfront and are subject to facility approval

Charting System

  • EPIC experience required (minimum 1 year)

  • Unit Type: Adult 26-bed Orthopedic Spine Unit
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
