Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown (ICU-Level Care)

Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 Hours/Week
Scheduling: No Block Scheduling

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of RN experience (PCU/Stepdown/IMC/DOU required)
Experience with:
- Arterial lines and vasoactive drip titration
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Rapid response situations
- IV insulin protocols and heparin protocols
- Blood product administration
- Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac)
- Tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management
Strong experience with:
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), CPAP/BiPAP
- Central line and PICC line management

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
NIH Stroke Certification
Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation required
