Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN to join our Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be confident in telemetry monitoring and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Communicate clearly with patients and families while maintaining professional standards
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous Epic experience required
• Strong telemetry skills required

Important:

• Travelers are responsible for self-studying telemetry strips prior to start
• A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week
• Passing this test is required to continue working on the unit

Scheduling Notes:

• No regular call requirement
• May be placed on call during low census
• Must be able to arrive within 1 hour if called in
