PAY:
Hourly Pay: $42/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $1,100 weekly
Meals: $738 weekly
Weekly Gross: $4,350 weeky for 48 hours
Weekly Gross: $3,350 weekly for 36 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Labr and Delivery
Location - 133 Old Road to 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742
Duration - 13 weeks contract
Night Shift - 7 pm to 7:30 am (12 hours shift) // 36 and 48 hours weekly
Weekend REQ: Yes - every other weekend required, every other holiday required, no call.
Will be required to float to post partum when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive care to patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum phases
Perform maternal and fetal assessments, including continuous fetal heart rate and contraction monitoring
Manage labor progression, including inductions, augmentations, and pain management (e.g., epidurals)
Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed
Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Monitor for and respond to obstetric emergencies such as fetal distress, hemorrhage, and preeclampsia
Provide newborn care immediately after delivery, including assessment, stabilization, and APGAR scoring
Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
Advocate for patient-centered care and provide emotional support during labor and delivery
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
REQUIREMENT:
At least 2 years of experience within the specialty - Required
MA RN License
BLS, ACLS, NRP and fetal monitoring certification - REQUIRED
Travel experience required
