Description
Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days | 10-hour shifts | 40 hrs/week + call
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of CAAHEP or ASCP/SCP accredited program (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, anatomy, physiology, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
- RCIS required
- If ARRT → VA license required
- RCIS only → no state license required
- ACLS/PALS per contract
- Current CPR certification
- Compliance with HIPAA and professional standards
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Completion of Amergis competency program (if applicable)
- Health requirements:
- TB screening (PPD or chest x-ray if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per state/contract)
Technical & Clinical Requirements
- Must scrub and monitor
- Experience with:
- Claris system (required)
- EPIC EMR (required)
- Cardiac pacing systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with care team
- Computer proficiency required
